Brad Simmons was born and raised in Ellijay, GA. He grew up surrounded by the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains and the small-town charm of his community. In 2012, Brad married his wife Heather, and together they have three beloved dogs who are part of their family.
For over a decade, Brad dedicated himself to serving his community as a firefighter EMT. From 2004 to 2015, he worked every day to keep people safe and provide medical assistance when needed. In addition to his work as a firefighter, Brad also worked alongside his late father Phil Simmons at Simmons Grading.
In 2014, Brad and his wife Heather opened River Street Tavern, a local hotspot where patrons can enjoy great food, drinks, and company. Brad and his family continue to run the tavern and have built a loyal following of customers who appreciate the friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Recently, Brad has embarked on a new career in real estate. He has a passion for helping people find their dream home and navigate the complex process of buying or selling property. Brad’s experience as a first responder and small business owner has taught him the importance of attention to detail, clear communication, and building lasting relationships. Brad is a dedicated family man, community servant, and successful entrepreneur. He takes pride in his work and always strives to make a positive impact on those around him.
